(More customer reviews)I bought this for grocery list use, but it is difficult to use, the color light signaling record mode is hidden once pen part is put on, so you have to twist it apart before you can set it from one mode to another.TOO complicated, too much to remember without dragging the directions around!And having to use the ear pieces to listen thru is awkward, always falling out of ears, and if you break these fragile things you can't listed to a playback from the pen. Might become a gift for someone.That colored light mode changing has GOT to go!!Expensive keychain, yes, useful recorder,no.As a SPY unit? "Hey, wait until I unscrew my pen, set the record mode, put pen back together, NOW let me secretely tape you." Don't think so.

2- Only 2 buttons required for full operation.
3-Good sound quality.

Disadvantages:
1- you can't organized your mp3 files for play back.
2- The indecator lamp is inside the pen, you have to open the pen to see the lamp before you operate.
3-the recorded sound files are in WAV format not mp3 fromat.

This executive styled pen allows you to listen to FM radio or your favorite MP3s while you work. You can plug your headphones into the standard 2.5mm audio jack at the top of the pen and listen to FM radio using the pen's built-in FM tuner or you can transfer your favorite MP3 files from your computer to the pen's built-in USB flash drive and play your favorite songs as you continue to work, without interrupting those around you. The pen also includes a digital voice recorder that allows you to discretely record audio of conversations or presentations.
