I have been doing a lot of research and have waited for this to hit amazon so i could get rid of some gift cards. But sadly when it hit my doorstep and i opened it I was surprised in the wrong way. The material and plastic is very cheap and looks and feels cheap. The plastic bends easily on top. Putting on my first vinyl on it I noticed that the turntable wobbled a little but didnt think anything of it. After a while it started to make a grinding noise of plastic on plastic. So i had to take it apart to adjust the belt. This worked for a while but had to do it again. No problems since. The sound is not bad at all and reaches a good volume point. Still could be louder. When hooking up external speakers or output the sound looses quality and has little to no bass. Overall I am disappointed with this product and hopped for a lot more for $80. Because I feel like its worth $40 at most. Just cheap, maybe i should have done more research or gone to good will. Crosley.. you disappointed me.

Not that you'll be worried about dï-½cor when chords of Bob Dylan's "Like a Rolling Stone" hum from the turntable's speakers after years of being trapped in a box in the basement.

Crosley Radio CR7002A-PA Troubadour Turntable (Paprika) Review

Crosley Radio CR7002A-PA Troubadour Turntable

I searched around for one of these all-in-one entertainment
units and chose this one because it recorded with
the use of a jump drive inserted into a slot in the front.
It was very easy to use. Simply insert the jump drive,
hit "Record", and start playing the album. Worked like a charm.
From there, you can just upload the mp3 onto your computer and
burn it to CD or do whatever you like with it.

The unit looks very nice. (I bought the oak one rather than
paprika). The sound is not particulary powerful, but it's clear
and sufficient enough for casual listening. If I ever want to
crank it up, it does have external speaker outputs in the back.

The one negative aspect is the fact that the record player arm
does not return to its starting position when the album is done
playing. The album stops spinning when it reaches the end, but
the arm just stays sitting on the album. However, that's no big
deal since, once the album's done playing, I want to put it back
into the sleeve.

Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase.

Crosley CR248 Songwriter CD Recorder - Paprika Review

I just received this item yesterday, and already found it does not work. The sound is poor, and when I tried to record a cd from a vinyl album, I found it did not work AT ALL! It records the first few seconds of the song, then skips all over the place.Very expensive piece of junk which will cost you an arm and a leg to return to whomever you buy it from!!!!!!!! (If they even take it back)
I bought it because I have a lot of vinyl that I want to put onto cd and into iTunes, but it's worthless for that.A BIG WASTE OF MONEY!!!!!!!!!!
Does not even deserve one star.

Being a babyboomer, I came along during the fabulous music of the 50s and 60s. I have a large collection of records and cassettes, but I was running out of ways to play them with the change in technology. With the Grace Digital Audio Tunewriter I can now play the records and cassettes and even cds. As an added bonus, I can copy both records and cassettes to cds and take fresh copies of my music with me in cd format. I love this machine! It took a while to figure out how to copy and convert to cd, but now it's a snap.
