(More customer reviews)To start I just want to mention that I had none of the problems the other reviewer had (partially thanks to them). The turntable was very easy to hook up and play. The belt was where it ought to be and the pitch slider was stationed in the center. The one oddity is that this IS a belt drive turntable, but other than Amazons recently amended product description you wouldn't know it to look at the thing. Meaning the box says it's a direct drive, as does the player itself. You can clearly see the belt under the platter though. The only other indicator is a manufactures sticker on the back that says Type: Belt Drive.
All that aside I love this turntable. This is the first turntable I have owned in years, and is certainly the nicest. I did some shopping around and decided that this would be the best deal for the quality, and I am glad I did. My old albums sound great and having the preamp included as well as the extra adjustments available is quite cool. I have yet to transfer music to my computer, but I will to be soon for a friend with some discontinued vinyl. I will update this review once I do.
I would absolutely recommend this product. It is the best quality for the price that I've found.
