Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)Currently I have a Canon Powershot 230 Elph, which I am very happy with. However the 3 minute videos it captures are not in an mpeg format that I could email or playback without Canon's software.
Picked this DV4500 up for $120. and have found it very easy to use.Records mpegs, which are not the greatest quality, but very good for the price paid for it.Small and light enough to carry anywhere, about the size of the Elph camera 2" x 4".Using it to record and keep on a CD my 3 1/2 yr. old daughter singing songs and dancing, just family things that I can email to relatives...easier and better than sending cards.Think you will be happy with it if you are just looking for an inexpensive, convenient mpeg recorder.Heard Best Buy stopped selling it because it was cutting into their high-end priced video camera sales.
