This is my Camcorder DVR.

I set up a camcorder in my truck on a tripod.I needed a DVR that could work without a PC and record at the touch of a button. I did not want to replace and erase tapes.I installed a 320 GB SATA drive in this device and I am testing the recording time.So far so good.

At SLP I was going to have about 350 hours of recording.I am now setting the recording quality to HQ to see how big the file size will be.

Note:The directions do state this, but it's worth saying again.If you buy this device, you have to set it up initially with a TV.That is the only way to view the options like format and time etc.FAT32 was surprising.The Kingwin device let me format 300 GB at FAT32.Windows would NEVER let me do that.

I've been searching for a device like this for a long time.It's a simple concept.Camcorder direct recording to a large hard drive.No tapes to replace.
