(More customer reviews)Overall, I have been very happy with the player in its capacity to play most video formats straight off. The only problems I've found are with playing 5.1 audio (doesn't just a buzz) and HD video that it can really struggle with. While I haven't gotten it to play 720p video it's very jerky and not close to watchable in h.264/mpeg4 format. It will however usually play HD video fine with xvid. Probably due less complicated math.
